Braintec Consulting is an emerging consulting and advisory firm delivering high-impact solutions across the Horn and East Africa. The firm specializes in Market Systems Development (MSD), Private Sector Development, Enterprise Competitiveness, Business Development Services (BDS), Investment Readiness, Inclusive Finance, Institutional Strengthening, Governance, Organizational Development and Public Sector Advisory.

Braintec partners with development agencies, INGOs, financial institutions and the private sector to design and implement sustainable, market-driven solutions that improve livelihoods, strengthen institutions and promote inclusive economic growth.

Braintec designs and implements interventions that strengthen market systems, improve enterprise performance, facilitate private sector participation, enhance governance, unlock investment and build sustainable business models for service delivery across Somalia.

Braintec is seeking a qualified and motivated Liaison Officer to support stakeholder engagement, partnership coordination and effective implementation of its programmes.

Key Responsibilities;

• Serve as the primary liaison between Braintec, local authorities, community representatives, private sector actors and development partners.
• Facilitate stakeholder consultations, coordination meetings and partnership engagements.
• Support programme implementation through field coordination, information sharing and follow-up on agreed activities.
• Identify emerging opportunities, operational challenges and stakeholder concerns, and communicate them to programme management.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships, engagement records and regular activity updates.
• Support field monitoring, documentation and reporting while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and safeguarding standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Public Administration, community development, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in stakeholder engagement, liaison, programme coordination or development programming.
• Good understanding of local governance structures, community dynamics and private sector engagement.
• Strong communication, negotiation, relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Somali and English, both written and spoken.
• Experience working with INGOs, development partners or private sector development programmes is an added advantage
