Job Description
GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:
The Supervisor will be responsible of daily supervision of livelihood activities in the two centers. The supervisor will be tasked to supervise tailoring instructors to ensure their weekly tasks are accomplished in a quality manner and problems encountered during the implementation are referred to the program Manager.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· The supervisor will be tasked to supervise instructors to ensure their weekly tasks are accomplished in a quality manner and problems encountered during the implementation are referred to the Program Manager .
· Oversee the management and implementation of the Livelihood project
· Support in data collection, monitoring, and evaluation efforts in coordination with MEAL department.
· Develop appropriate targeting criteria and mechanisms to ensure the needs of identified vulnerable groups are met.
· Ensure protection and gender are mainstreamed in all the Livelihood project activities.
· Ensure that project implementation effectively maintains high quality standards and ensure the consistency of the work in accordance with programming goals and objectives.
· Oversee programme implementation quality in accordance with SSWC and Donor policies, and the generally accepted best practices.
· Ensure community involvement in all phases of the project cycle.
· Ensure good relationships and coordination with the main service providers in the area of intervention
· Respecting key protection principles including but not limited to: PSEA, do no harm, non-discrimination, confidentiality, accountability
· Analyze and report the humanitarian needs and provide clear and detailed recommendations for intervention
· Prepare and submit the monthly project progress report, quarterly, case studies, success story, publications etc
· Respect and adhere to SSWC’s HR handbook and Code of Conduct.
